Finally,
the
theatre
strike
that
had
affected
the
release
of
all
new
Malayalam
films,
has
come
to
an
end.
Malayalam
films
will
be
back
to
the
theatres
from
this
week
onwards
and
it
is
definitely
a
party
time
for
all
the
followers
of
Malayalam
movies.
Jayasurya
starrer
Fukri,
directed
by
Siddique
was
one
of
the
films
that
got
affected
due
to
the
theatre
strike.
The
film,
which
was
scheduled
as
a
Christmas
release
of
2016
is
expected
to
hit
the
theatres
in
the
coming
days.
No
official
confirmation
has
been
made
regarding
the
release
date
of
the
film.
According
to
certain
reports,
the
film
is
expected
to
hit
the
theatres
on
February
3,
2017
and
would
get
a
solo
release.
Munthirivallikal
Thalirkkumbol,
Jomonte
Suviseshangal,
Fukri
and
Ezra
were
the
films
that
were
slated
as
a
Christmas
release.
Going
by
the
new
plan,
each
film
will
get
a
solo
release.
Jomonte
Suviseshangal
and
Munthirivallikal
Thalirkkumbol
would
hit
the
theatres
on
January
19th
and
January
20th
respectively.
Meanwhile,
the
makers
of
Ezra
confirmed
that
the
film
would
hit
the
theatres
on
February
10,
2017.
Hence,
in
all
probabilities,
Jayasurya's
Fukri
is
expected
to
hit
the
theatres
on
February
3,
2017
as
the
Republic
Day
weekend
would
be
filled
with
the
release
of
other
language
movies.
Let
us
wait
for
an
official
confirmation
from
the
makers
of
Fukri.
