Gautham
Menon,
the
renowned
filmmaker
recently
made
his
Malayalam
acting
debut
with
Trance,
the
Fahadh
Faasil-starrer.
Even
though
the
movie
received
mixed
reviews
and
emerged
as
a
below-average
grosser,
lead
actor
Fahadh
Faasil
was
highly
praised
for
his
exceptional
performance.
Recently,
co-star
Gautham
Menon
also
revealed
how
impressed
he
is
with
the
National
award-winning
actor's
performance
in
the
movie.
In
the
recent
interview
given
to
The
Hindu,
the
senior
filmmaker
revealed
that
he
is
highly
impressed
with
Fahadh
Faasil
and
intends
to
direct
him
very
soon.
Interestingly,
Gautham
Menon
has
already
prepared
a
script
for
Fahadh
Faasil
and
is
intending
to
have
a
narrative
session
with
him
once
the
all
India
lockdown
comes
to
an
end.
According
to
the
director,
Fahadh
Faasil
has
promised
him
that
he
will
approach
him
for
the
narration
very
soon,
as
that
is
the
way
the
actor
works.
Gautham
Menon
is
hopeful
that
the
project
will
materialize
very
soon
and
states
that
he
is
ready
to
wait
for
the
talented
actor.
Earlier,
it
was
announced
that
Gautham
Menon
is
planning
to
direct
Prithviraj
Sukumaran,
the
multi-faceted
talent
of
Malayalam
cinema,
in
a
Tamil-Telugu-Kannada
trilingual.
Interestingly,
the
project
was
a
multi-starrer
that
had
some
of
the
most
popular
actors
of
the
South
Indian
cinema
in
the
lead
roles.
However,
the
promising
project
never
materialised
due
to
the
busy
schedules
of
the
lead
actors.
But
the
sources
suggest
that
Gautham
Menon
has
not
dropped
his
ambitious
project,
but
has
just
put
it
in
the
backburner
for
the
time
being.
Later,
Prithviraj
has
also
confirmed
that
the
project
is
not
shelved,
but
is
delayed.
Fahadh
Faasil,
who
is
one
of
the
most
sought-after
actors
of
the
contemporary
Malayalam
cinema,
will
next
be
seen
in
Mahesh
Narayanan's
political
thriller,
Malik.
The
actor
is
playing
a
very
challenging
character
in
the
film,
which
will
feature
him
in
four
different
avatars.
