Diya Aur Baati Hum, December 18th episode written update: Sandhya cooks everything in the kitchen. Suraj tries to go in the kitchen but Dai Sa holds him back and asks Sandhya to bring water for Suraj. She hands over the glass of water to him. Dai Sa does not even allow Suraj to talk with Sandhya.

Dai Sa taunts Santosh asking her to bring the food. Santosh tries to dodge Dai Sa. Meena enters the kitchen to help Sandhya. But Dai Sa calls her out. Meena asks Imli to help Sandhya. Imli questions why Meena is trying to help her and asks what selfishness is hidden behind her this thought.

But Meena tells that she does not have any selfish motive behind helping Sandhya except for saving their home's pride. She asks to help Sandhya by preparing the Bajre Ki Roti in the store room. Sandhya tries to make Bajre Ki Roti on the Chakla. But her attempt fails.

Imli and Meena start making Bajre Ki Roti in the store room. Suddenly the door opens and Suraj sees them. He appreciates their help. Imli and Meena prepare the chapattis fighting with each other.
Dai Sa shouts again and again for the chapati but Sandhya fails in preparing the chapattis. She becomes nervous and wonders what she should do to make perfectly round chapattis.

One of the woman sees the smoke from the store room and they all walk towards the store room. But Meena tells that she is spreading Dhoop Baati ti drive away the mosquitoes. Imli asks how to send the chapattis to Sandhya.
