Mukesh counterattacks Praveen

Lyricist Praveen Bharadwaj who wrote lyrics for films like Gunaah, Saaya and Inteha made under Vishesh Films banner recently claimed that Mahesh Bhatt paid him much less than his market price. He refused to quote the amount and said that he didn't accept the money which Mahesh Bhatt offered him.

Mukesh Bhatt however, claims that all his allegations against Mahesh Bhatt and Vishesh Films are false. Says Mukesh Bhatt, "Praveen Bharadwaj is an underrated writer who is doing this just for cheap publicity." Defending Vishesh Films, Mukesh says "It is a known fact that Vishesh Films has always given hit music and when we have talented lyricists like Sayeed Quadri with us, why would we want someone like Praveen Bharadwaj?"

Bhatt feels that Bharadwaj is surely not as talented as he claims to be. "He just pretends to be a writer but the fact is that he is not one" declares Mukesh Bhatt.

Bhatt was amazed knowing Praveen's statement that he charges only second to Javed Akhtar. Mukesh reacts to it saying, "I have been in this industry for too long and I can tell you that not even a donkey would pay him even 10% of what Javed Akhtar charges."

When asked why Praveen made such allegations against Vishesh Films, Mukesh Bhatt replies, "All I want to say is that he is a frustrated man, who is desperately seeking publicity by making false accusations against a big banner like Vishesh Films."
