The
Warner
Bros.
Motion
Picture
group
has
now
planned
to
release
the
new
trailer
of
the
movie
Green
Lantern,
which
is
slated
to
hit
the
screens
on
17th
June
2011.
The
studio
bosses
say
that
the
first
trailer
of
the
film
was
not
so
impressive
and
convincing,
which
has
made
them
go
for
second
trailer
to
get
good
opinion
from
viewers.
Sue
Kroll,
the
Marketing
President
of
Warner
Bros.
Motion
Picture,
has
revealed
the
news
about
the
second
trailer
at
CinemaCon
in
Las
Vegas.
Talking
to
the
media
he
said
that
the
audience
reaction
for
first
trailer
was
not
so
good.
So
the
studio
suffered
for
it
because
the
big-scale
sequences
were
not
ready
to
show
at
the
moment.
Jeff
Robinov,
Warner
Bros.
Motion
Picture
group
president,
has
revealed
that
the
studio
learned
on
aligning
its
production
and
marketing
schedules
for
3D
films
to
increase
audience's
interest.
"We
are
on
a
learning
curve
in
getting
3D
materials
and
marketing
materials
on
the
same
schedule.
[Advertising
for
'Green
Lantern']
has
been
delayed
strictly
from
production," the
AceShowBiz
quotes
him
as
saying.
However,
Green
Lantern
is
adapted
from
DC
Comics
revolves
around
Hal
Jordan,
an
ordinary
man
chosen
by
a
dying
alien
named
Abin
Sur
to
receive
a
green
energy-powered
ring
used
for
protecting
the
planet.
Ryan
Reynolds,
Mark
Strong,
Peter
Sarsgaard
and
Blake
Lively
are
in
the
leads.
