Anup Jalota FAKED Relationship With Jasleen On BB 12 To Help Her; 'Channel Asked Me To Leave'

Last night, Bigg Boss 12 shocked the viewers with the double elimination, where Anup Jalota and Saba Khan were evicted. Anup Jalota managed to grab attention when he entered the show with his alleged girlfriend Jasleen Matharu. Throughout his journey inside the glass house, Anup and Jasleen behaved as a couple in a committed relationship, which included sharing kisses, hugs and going on romantic dates. However, after eviction from Bigg Boss 12, in an interview with Times Now, the 65-year-old devotional singer has revealed that the channel faked his and Jasleen's relationship and asked him to leave.
Bigg Boss 12 Scripted Their Relationship
Anup revealed that Jasleen was picked by the makers of Bigg Boss 12 six days before the premiere. He wasn't aware of their romantic pairing and was shocked when Salman announced on Bigg Boss 12 that he and Jasleen were dating.
Anup Refused To Go On The Show With Jasleen
Anup told Times Now that Jasleen contacted him asking if he could be her partner on the show. To which he responded saying, 'No, I don't have that much time. I am always very busy.' But, Jasleen's father insisted Anup went with his daughter.
He Made His Relationship With Jasleen Clear
Anup said, "When she came on stage, she said that she and I were in a relationship, which left me absolutely shocked. Upon entering the house, I stressed upon the fact that she was my student. Whenever questions on our relationship popped up, I always said that we were good friends. However, at no point during the show, we held each other's hands."
Anup Wanted To 'Help Her Out'
"I sing songs for her sometimes. We hardly know each other. She has come to my place 5 times hardly. My family doesn't even know her. There's nothing what audiences think there is; the whole purpose was to help her out. She will keep learning music from me and I will keep teaching her; we'll do shows together sometimes," the singer said.
The Channel Asked Him To Leave
Talking about his eviction, Anup said, "The channel asked me to leave. The makers told me that I am being too self-conscious and wanted me to blend in with everyone. I refused to do it. Why should I not be self-conscious? I have achieved so much in life, including a Padmashree. But I'll definitely go back if called again, I enjoyed the show."
