Karan Johar, Simi Garewal snub Paris Hilton

American socialite Paris Hilton is landing in Mumbai this weekend to launch her line of handbags and accessories. But she has failed to find a taker to feature her in an Indian talk show. According to reports, the hotel heiress has been snubbed by popular talk show hosts Karan Johar and Simi Garewal.

It is reported that Paris Hilton had first approached the makers of the popular TV show Koffee with Karan on Star World India. But Karan Johar said to have refused to host Paris Hilton. Sources say that the producer-turned-host snubbed the socialite because he did not want to ask her previously approved questions.

Later, Paris Hilton contacted another host Simi Garewal, who is running the show Simi Selects India's Most Desirable, and composer Aadesh Shrivastava is said to have been coordinating with Simi on behalf of Hilton's managing company in India. But Simi has also refused her because she did not want to be the second choice.

However, Paris Hilton will be in the city from September 24 to 26 and will attend different events to launch her line of handbags and accessories. She might have been rejected by the Indian talk show hosts, but Superstar Shahrukh's wife Gauri Khan is reportedly hosting a bash for her on September 24.
