Recently, Salman Khan was spotted at the airport leaving to Goa for the launch of the show. The launch of Bigg Boss 12 was held today (September 4, 2018) in Goa. The actor, who is returning as the host of the show for the sixth time, entertained the guests and journalists at the event and revealed some interesting and quirky trivia!
During the event, Salman Khan revealed that he was not the first choice to host Bigg Boss when it was first launched in India. Read on to know more about the same!

Salman revealed Shahrukh Khan was the original choice for Bigg Boss. He was quoted by HT as saying, "Not many know that he was the original choice to host Bigg Boss. He had a shoulder injury so it came to me. I thank him for this."

Salman and Shahrukh is a popular jodi in Bollywood. The viewers love to watch them together. On Bigg Boss itself, the duo have appeared quite a number of times. Recently, SRK also appeared on Salman's Dus Ka Dum. Salman revealed that he would like to work with SRK if something good comes up! This season the theme is vichitra jodi. When Salman was asked about his own ‘vichitra jodi', he said, "Sanjay Dutt and me, and we hosted a Bigg Boss season together. So, he is the best choice for me. I will also choose Shahrukh Khan."

Salman said that he has been associated with Bigg Boss since a long time and added that he is thinking of getting married to Bigg Boss because he is just a voice!
Bigg Boss 12, which usually starts from October, has begun early this year. The reality show is all set to premiere on September 16, 2018. The show will be telecasted on Colors TV from Monday to Friday at 10.30 PM & on Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM.
