At
the
music
launch
of
Rohit
Shetty's
Chennai
Express,
the
Badshah
of
Bollywood
showed
his
gratitude
towards
the
industry.
Despite
he
is
happy
that
the
industry
has
been
generous
to
him
and
calls
it
his
surrogate
family.
"I
don't
have
a
struggling
period
to
talk
about.
I
just
want
to
thank
everyone...
the
whole
film
industry
embraced
me
with
open
arms.
If
I
may
use
the
word,
it
gave
me
a
surrogate
family
when
I
came
here.
I
have
been
fortunate," said
SRK.
The
actor
showed-off
some
dance
moves
with
leading
lady
of
the
film
Deepika
Padukone
along
with
background
dancers.
It
seems
like
he
is
doing
fine
now
after
his
shoulder
injury.
Also
present
on
the
occasion
were
South
actress
Priyamani,
Nikitin
Dheer,
Shekhar
Ravjiani
of
the
Vishal-Shekar
duo,
Singer
Neeti
Mohan,
lyricist
Amitabh
Bhattacharya,
producer
Ronnie
Screwala,
T-series
head
Bhushan
Kumar
and
others.
Veteran
S
P
Balasubramaniam
has
sung
the
title
track
Chennai
Express.
"It
is
memorable
moment
to
release
the
music,
it
is
a
beautiful
music.
It
is
nice
to
have
SP
Balasubramaniam
on
board,
we
are
huge
fans
of
him.
He
is
67,
but
sounds
like
a
20-year-old.
We
had
one
of
the
best
experiences
ever
to
work
with
a
legend," Shekhar
Ravjiani
said.
The
theme
of
the
event
was
created
to
set
the
mood
of
the
film.
This
was
done
by
placing
cut-outs
of
trains
at
the
venue
and
the
South
Indian
attire
'lungis'
were
given
out
to
media
persons.
